Questions

Q. What areas do you cover for your photography?
Paul: Sydney NSW. I will happily travel interstate for events you wish me to cover (Note: Additional costs will apply).

Q. Can I make changes to your photo packages?
Paul: I am happy to listen to any reasonable suggestions, but you will find my packages are simple and cost effective.

Q. Do you take the photos yourself?
Paul: Yes. All your photographs are taken by myself. I shoot and process all of the photographs after the event and author them to CD/DVD to your taste.

Q. How many photos will I get?
Paul: I believe in quality, not quantity. Saying that, if you do not get several hundred photos from a typical wedding shoot, then I'm not doing my job properly. I don't charge per photo, so I will take as many as I can to ensure nothing is missed.

Q. How long will it be before I can have the final photographs?
Paul: I guarantee you will have them back in 7 days from the event on a CD-ROM Web Gallery. Prints may take up to 4 weeks to process and collate in the wedding album of your choice.

Q. Do you supply my wedding photos on CD or DVD?
Paul: Yes I can do both. All photo packages are presented on a CD-ROM to allow clients to view their images on a computer, and print their own images as they please. The CD contains your high resolution photos (negatives) which you can print from.

Q. Can I make copies of my photos for family and friends?
Paul: You sure can, they are yours after all. Remember, you paid me to take them, not to keep them.

Q. Can you create a customised DVD slideshow with music of my own choice, text, special effects, etc?
Paul: Yes. You choose the music, the photos, any text you would like at the beginning, during or the end of the slideshow, and I will turn it into a DVD presentation that you can enjoy time and time again.

Q: What guarantee do you provide?
Paul: My reputation and work are everything to me. Without your satisfaction, I'm not in business. I take more photos than you could imagine at your event, each time checking to ensure they capture the essence of the moment. I use only the best Professional Digital Camera equipment, to ensure the photos you recieve are second to none.

Q: What happens if your camera fails on the big day?
Paul: I always have 2 of everything just in case. That means camera, flashes, batteries, memory cards, etc. Whilst my camera equipment has never failed me, it is just like any other piece of technology, and can fail. Good photographers always have a backup plan for each of their components.

Q: How do I book your time for my event?
Paul: Just send me an email with your details or questions, or better still, just call me (see contact details below) and we'll work out a time.

Q: What sort of Equipment do you use and how do I know I will get professional quality photos?
Paul: Most photographers will either use a Nikon or Canon professional setup, and most but not all, will invest in professional grade lenses. I personally choose to shoot with a Canon Digital SLR, and only use Professional "L" Series lenses for my shoots. In simple terms, I only use the best Canon equipment you can buy. I also carry 2 of everything to ensure I have a backup camera, just in case.

Q: Can and will you shoot anything I ask you to?
Paul: As long as it is legal, I will shoot it for you. No questions asked, and full privacy granted.

Q: Once I book my session with Paul, what payments are required?
Payment Methods: Cash, Direct Electronic transfer accepted.

Paul: To book your session, 50% of total fee is required upfront, and the remainder 24 hours prior to the event.

Q: Are cancellations accepted?
Paul: Cancellations with a full refund of the deposit are accepted as long as the cancellation is not within the 7 days of the event. If within the 7 days, the 50% deposit will be not be refunded. Paul is happy to provide a credit for a future shoot for unforseen circumstances.

Q: Many other photographers offer many different varieties of Wedding Albums and Print Packages. You seem to offer a more modern digital format (ie, Web Gallery or DVD Slideshow). Why?
Paul: There are many reasons I mainly offer digital copies of your photos, even though I can and still do offer traditional wedding albums:

1. We live in a digital world of computers, and many clients want to choose and share their own photos with family and friends. Clients can make as many copies of their photos as they wish for no additional charge.

2. To keep the costs of the photography session competitive and low, I offer print services as an additional package, as most clients find it cheaper to select and print their own photos at their favourite photo development lab.

3. Not all of my clients families reside in the same country. Therefore many clients prefer the CD/DVD options so they can make copies for their families and friends or even publish their photos to a website so that they can be viewed anywhere in the world over the internet.
